The Bible is God's Word.
We believe the Bible is inspired by God and trustworthy from cover to cover. It's the compass we use for faith, life, and how we treat one another.
Who we are
Kingdom House is a life-giving, Bible-believing, Spirit-empowered community in Concord, North Carolina. We're not perfect people — we're people being made whole by a perfect Savior.
Our story
In late 2023, Pastors Cody and Meghan Killian sensed God calling their family back to Concord to plant something new: a church where people could come as they are, find healing, and grow into everything God made them to be.
After twelve years of serving in different ministry roles, they returned to the place where it all began. Kingdom House was born from a simple conviction: Jesus still heals, still saves, still sets people free, and He does it through a family that loves like He does.
Whether you've been in church your whole life or you're walking through the doors for the very first time, you belong here.

What we believe
We believe the Bible is inspired by God and trustworthy from cover to cover. It's the compass we use for faith, life, and how we treat one another.
We believe in one eternal God who exists as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — three persons, one perfectly united God.
Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He died on the cross, was buried, rose from the dead, ascended to heaven, and now prays for us at the Father's right hand.
All people have sinned and fallen short of God's glory. God calls everyone to turn from sin and trust Him — repentance is how we receive forgiveness and a fresh start.
We are made right with God, born again, and given brand-new life through faith in Jesus' blood — not by being good enough, but by trusting Him enough.
After we're saved, God continues making us more like Jesus. We call that sanctification — a clean heart, a changed life, and a growing love for what God loves.
We believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit after salvation, and that speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives utterance is the first sign of that baptism.
We baptize believers by immersion in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — a public declaration that we've died to our old life and been raised to new life in Jesus.
We believe healing — body, soul, and spirit — is available to everyone because of what Jesus accomplished on the cross.
We celebrate the Lord's Supper and practice the washing of the saints' feet — tangible reminders that Jesus served us first and calls us to serve one another.
We believe in the second coming of Jesus. First, He will raise the righteous dead and gather His people to Himself. Then He will reign on earth for a thousand years.
We believe in the bodily resurrection. Those who trust Jesus will live forever with Him, while those who reject Him will face eternal separation from God.
How we live
Pursuit
We chase the presence of God — not out of duty, but out of hunger. Worship is real. Prayer is real. Encounter is real.
Heaven
Every tribe. Every tongue. Every story. We're building a room on earth that looks a little more like the room in Heaven.
Family
You weren't made to figure it out by yourself. Circles, mentors, prayer partners — the family shows up for each other.
First Fruits
We give God our first and our best, not our leftovers. Our time, our worship, our resources — He gets the first and the finest.
