If you're searching for churches in Concord right now, you are in a lot of good company. Cabarrus County has grown like crazy over the last few years, and thousands of new families and young professionals have landed here all looking for the same thing you probably are — a church that actually feels like home. So let me give you some honest help finding one, and then an equally honest invitation to come check out ours.

Before you hand a Sunday over to anybody, let me say something plainly: there are a lot of churches around Concord, and they are not all the same. I'd encourage you to care less about the building and the production and more about a few things that actually matter over the long haul. Does the Bible actually get preached there — not just quoted on a screen, but opened up, taught, and taken seriously? Is there a real path to grow, or are you just going to attend? Is there genuine community, a way to actually be known instead of counted? If you've got kids, is their space safe and worth their Sunday? And then there's the one thing you can't put on a checklist but you'll feel the second you walk in — whether God is actually in the room. You'll know it when you're in it. So go visit a few, pray about it, and don't rush the decision. The right fit is worth the search.

Now let me tell you about us, plainly. Kingdom House is a newer church in Concord, and we planted here on purpose. My wife Meghan and I moved back to Cabarrus County — where she was born and raised — because we saw a community exploding with growth and a real need for a Spirit-filled, Bible-preaching church that actually feels alive. We're Pentecostal, affiliated with the Church of God out of Cleveland, Tennessee. We preach the whole Bible without watering it down to make it easier to swallow. And we exist to love and lead people from hurt to whole through Jesus — the churched and the burned-out, the curious and the skeptical, the family that hasn't walked into a church in years. All of you. We meet Sundays at 10 AM at Central Cabarrus High School, with easy parking, a kids environment your children will actually love, and a team whose whole job is to make your first visit an easy one.

Here's the honest truth to close with, though: you are not going to figure out whether a church fits you by reading a webpage. You have to walk in the room. I would love for that room to be ours — but more than that, I want you to find a church home somewhere in Concord where you grow, where you get known, and where you run into God. If you're still looking, come see us for yourself and decide from there.
